The Brick Computer Company of Topsfield, MA has been in business for many many years and was once known as Ergo Computer - makers of the "Brick" transportable computer line.
Today Brick offers laptop computers from several Taiwanese makers and survives by offering above average service and support. Jack Dion, the Brick Service Manager, has been one of the few people at any major computer company that has been willing to share tips and support information regarding Chicony and Maxtech laptops and has helped me support these machines.
Brick also maintains a long list of drivers for the various laptops that they once sold and they can be found on their FTP page. Translation from Brick model to maker's model can be difficult unless you first start with their home page and work your way through the various support pages so that you can get drivers for the correct laptop.
