This laptop seems to have been a MP989 updated to use 100 MHz main bus Pentium III CPU's in a MMC2 package. I'll assume that the case and drive modules would interchange with the MP989 machines. As far as I know this machine was only sold in Europe by Maxdata under their Avon Pro series of laptops. I've very little information on this machine and the European Chicony website never had information posted regarding this model.
