I believe that all the following AMS Tech models were manufactured by Arima: TravelPro 5300, SoundPro, SoundWave and the PowerCD laptop. The Soundpro is somewhat the same as the 486 Travelpro model 5300, but with a sound card.

I once owned a TravelPro 5300 486-66 with a 10" active matrix and that was a workhorse machine in its day. I recall that one needed to tell memory merchants that the 5300 was the same as the Austin 486 laptop. The Austin laptops were listed in more memory vendor memory lists. That's about all the trivial that I know about these machines.

I have an untested Li Ion battery that I believe is for a TravelPro 5300 or SoundPro - email is you are interested in it.
