TravelPro Laptops
Parts lists (if available) and/or disassembly pictures can be located on each maker's own model support page
The TravelPro series was AMS Tech's longest running model. The TravelPro started out as a 486 machine and ended with the TravelPro 6000 Pentium II series. AMS Tech did not make any of their laptops. Several Taiwanese makers made the various TravelPro models for AMS Tech and so you need to look for the maker of your model by following the links to the left of this page.
The Travelex and the TravelPro are completely different machines and so this does not apply to any Travelex laptop. The Travelex is a Twinhead machine and support is not easy.
Most parts are NOT interchangable between laptops from one ODM and a second ODM so do be sure to follow the link to your TravelPro model and from there to the correct parts page.
I believe that all TravelPro models in the model range from 100 through 2080 are all Chicony MP975 machines with the exception of the 180, the 185, the 1900 and the 520HL. TravelPro 2500 through 2599 (if it exists) plus the 25x series are all Chicony MP983 machines. Compare the below picture of a Chicony made TravelPro to your machine if there is any doubt. LCD sizes do vary so don't be put off by the LCD size shown.
