WinBook

WinBook is an old name in laptop sales and over the years has sold laptops produced by many different ODM (Original device manufacturer) produced laptops that have been all sold as WinBook's. I haven't been able to determine the ODM for several of the older models, such as the FX. In any case I don't believe that new parts are available for these older machines.

WinBook will not sell repair parts to anyone but their own distributors and so some new replacement parts difficult to obtain for these machines. However, since newer WinBook laptops have been supplied by ECS, FIC, Compal and Twinhead and now from ASUS and other brands the sell the same models may provide parts that are the same as what is found on these WinBook models.

I can special order many parts for the Compal produced models. The ECS produced WinBook are easier for us to support and we can supply many new replacement parts for the ECS WinBook laptops.

I believe that the cross-reference list below shows the ODM (original device manufacturer) models as compared to WinBook model numbers , but some may be just our best guess.

S2 = ECS (Formerly AlphaTop) Green 510

XL = Twinhead P85 (??) series (No support offered at this time)

XL2 = Twinhead P98 series (No support offered at this time)
